Property Description

Bring an antique horse farm back to life. Tucked at the end of a quiet dead-end road in North Smithfield, this circa 1800 farm on 17.77 acres has been in the same family for about 50 years and is ready for its next horse lover. The antique barn sits on a concrete foundation with block walls, a newer roof, horse stalls, and a large hayloft. A second outbuilding has been redone as an equipment garage and workshop with additional stalls, giving you room for tractors, tack, and more horses. The farmhouse offers a 3 bed, 1.5 bath main living area with a sunroom and a vaulted-ceiling primary suite with a half bath, plus a separate 2 bed, 1 bath unit upstairs, perfect for extended family, a barn manager, or rental income. Recent updates include a newer roof, a new oil tank, a new well pump, and town sewer. Much of the land is protected wetland, offering wildlife, quiet, and privacy rarely found this close to Route 146 and the Massachusetts line. The home needs updating and is waiting for a buyer who wants to restore its history and make it their own.
